Packages are delivered via UPS or Fedex overnight service. Our customers

If a customer prefers an alternate delivery service, such arrangements
must be made by phone with one of our sales associates at time of
purchase. All our items come with an appraisal
that can be used to insure your new purchase. Since we sell at
wholesale prices our appraisal is a "replacement value"
thus will be significantly higher than the price you paid. This
appraisal is recognized by all major insurers.

Customers who would like to set up an appointment please give us a
few days notice before you arrive in NYC. If you are in need of
ground transportation to and from the airport or while in the city,

International
shipping. As each country has different customs, duties
and sales taxes (VAT) we can not know what you will be charged on
every order. We can do our best to help you find out but make no
guarantees on the subject. Once we ship you an item outside the USA
we are not refunding the duties, taxes VAT's etc, that you may be
charged in case of return. These funds are taken by your local
government and we can not get them back. You may be able to apply
your self to your local tax officials for a refund. In case we are
charged any duties on return into the USA we will take that part of
the funds out of the original refund amount. We encourage you to
talk to your countries customs to understand the full amount you
will need to pay. In some cases where we can figure out the amount
of taxes you will be charged we will collect it up front and pay it
for you so it goes through faster directly to you. International
shipping and insurance is not free as it is in the USA since it can
cost us quite a lot. We will have to add that to the purchase price
as well. You will also have to pay for the return shipping/insurance

fees, insurance fees and all duties, customs, VAT, GST, etc are

one-of-a-kind specialty designs, (that are not a
standard model on the website) that we made for a customer
are not refundable. Only the center diamond is 100%
refundable according to above policies . The
labor, materials and small side diamonds are not refundable.
If you decide you do not want the custom made item
we will accept it back but with a re-stocking fee.

Return time may be shorter
for discounted items. Please call or email for
details.

If an item is returned for fixing, re-sizing or alteration the
return policy date will stay the original date.
If you decide to return your purchases for any reason,
notify us at once via email at info@thediamond.com. All
returned items must be in original condition and packaging. Please
note that items showing signs of wear or those that have been
engraved, altered, resized (by a jeweler other than thediamond.com),
or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return. These items
may be accepted back in some cases with a re-stocking fee. We must
recieve the original GIA certificate, that you got, in same condition. Do not bend the certificate to fit it in a
box. Please use a box, long enough, to fit in the GIA
certificate.
Items (up to $25,000) must be shipped back to us using USPS
registered insured mail. Shipping with the USPS is very cheap and
safe and will cost about 12 dollars for the average order. Returned
items above $25,000 will need to be shipped back to us using our own
insurance and UPS shipping. Please call us for details.
Refunds Your satisfaction is our main goal. If you are not
delighted with your diamond or jewelry purchase and need to request
a refund within the return period allowed please:

the item back and we will give you a return code. All items we
ship come with a return sheet explaining the simple return
procedure.

You must include all original shipping materials, and invoice
in your return package. If products have been used, damaged

Ship your return box to us via U.S. Postal service.
You must insure the package for the full purchase amount. The
USPS insures item up to $25,000. Contact us by phone to arrange
a return of a product above $25,000.
